Expedia is claiming discounts of up to 40% on hotels as part of its new year sales promotion.
The online travel firm is also offering double Nectar reward points on booking and the chance to win the cost of the holiday back.
The ‘Smiles Campaign’ runs until mid-February, with consumers who book through the site being automatically entered into a draw to win their money back, with one winner selected for each day of the promotion.
The new campaign includes print media adverts in the Mail on Sunday, Metro, Times, Telegraph, Guardian and The Independent.
It also includes radio, Video On Demand and outdoor advertising channels with further support from social media via Facebook.
Outdoor advertising will focus on underground digital panels and posters, as well as train panels, station posters and digital panels.
