Travel technology specialist Multicom has released new cruise booking technology for agents, designed to address issues the trade has in the sector.

FaBrix Cruise Journey has been developed in partnership with the leading lines in the Complete Cruise Solution family; P&O Cruises, Princess Cruises, Cunard and specialist agents.

Multicom said it has worked with a number of agents to understand what issues they face when booking cruise.

The main problem was access to suitable information and sales collateral such as ship pictures, deck plans, information and route maps.

The cruise booking platform allows agents to see the ships they are booking and access detailed information about the specific cabin and its location.

Multicom managing director John Howell said: “The launch of FaBrix Cruise Journey underpins our commitment to working with and listening to agents to develop solutions to the problems they face.

“The end result is a product that has been shaped by agents to maximise the customer experience and improve the conversion rate for retailers.

“We will continue to work with our partners to ensure we are constantly delivering technology that improves both efficiency and the bottom line for agents.”
