Members-only flash sale site Jetsetter.co.uk has launched a free mobile app for Apple users in the UK, just two months after breaking into the domestic market.
The app, described as “magazine-like”, offers high resolution 360-degree images of the hand-picked properties Jetsetter features. Users can also access editorial on the properties.
Jetsetter said its engineers custom-designed a digital camera to shoot the pictures which were “stitched together to form immersive 360-degree images”.
The app includes details of 600 properties and is usable offline when there is no internet connectivity.
Other features include a 50% off offer on the home page, location directions translatable into the local language, social network share functionality, news and a savable favourites list.
Rob Deeming, Jetsetter general manager of Europe, said: “We know Jetsetter members love to be inspired by the stunning images and compelling editorial on our site and we wanted to take this one step further with our mobile app.
“Our app has been designed like an interactive travel magazine, with 360-degree views of some of the most incredible hotels from around the world, allowing members to really immerse themselves in the places they want to stay, wherever they are.
“And with a booking option in the app, not only does it mean members can tune in for their daily travel fix, but they can book one of our exclusive deals on the go so they won’t miss out on that trip of a lifetime.”
