Egencia names Christophe Peymirat as EMEA and Asia Pacific SVP

Expedia’s business travel arm Egencia has named Christophe Peymirat as EMEA and Asia Pacific senior vice president following the departure of Christophe Pingard.

Expedia’s business travel arm Egencia has named Christophe Peymirat as EMEA and Asia Pacific senior vice president following the departure of Christophe Pingard.

Peymirat, who joined the company at its inception in 2000, has held various roles in sales and marketing and launched Egencia’s UK business operations, based in London from 2005 to 2010, before returning to Paris as vice president of global marketing.

Egencia president Rob Greber said: “Christophe has a deep understanding of all aspects of our business both on the revenue and the service side.

“He has demonstrated his leadership in designing and implementing a large number of key strategic initiatives, and has been a key member of the leadership team for years.”

Peymirat began his career at L’Oreal as a sales and marketing executive before working for Bain & Company as a business consultant.
