The Midlands-based company is taking on ten full time cruise consultants, increasing the team by 20% to 30 office-based and 20 home-working agents.

Continued growth in the business comes at a time when the cruise industry flourishes as consumers acknowledge the value of a cruise-based holiday.

The firm believes continuing growth in cruise sales and its social media strategy through two cruise websites, online community www.cruises.co.uk, and www.cruise.co.uk, which carries more than 33,000 reviews, has prompted the expansion.

Managing director Seamus Conlon said: “This is a great move for the www.cruise.co.uk business as we continue to grow at a time when more traditional travel agents are suffering.

“Our cruise experts all have their own blogs where they can write about their personal experiences and customers can openly rate the service that they received.

“These activities allow the cruise experts to stand out and profile their experience so customers can select the right expert for them.”

He added: “I would encourage anyone in the travel industry with experience in cruise who is looking for a new opportunity to contact us. We offer a base salary for all office and home-working staff of £15,000 plus incentives and we provide the latest equipment and technology.”
