Cheapflights announces new board appointments
Chief technology officer Chris Martin and chief financial officer Alan Martin have been appointed onto the board of online travel deals firm Cheapflights Media.
The strengthening of the board follows the sudden death of former CFO Simon Bicket in June.
Alan Martin joined the company in July from BBC Worldwide where he was interim finance director for the global brands division.
Chris Martin has been with the company for four years.
Cheapflights CEO Hugo Burge said: “For the past five years Chris Martin has led our technology and product teams, helping achieve successful expansion into new markets. I am delighted to welcome him to the board to represent this fundamental aspect of the Company.

He added: “Alan joined us under the sad circumstances of Simon Bicket’s unexpected death.
