Holiday home and apartment provider Interhome is to have its portfolio of properties displayed on TripAdvisor.
Travellers booking properties on Interhome directly will be able to submit reviews with TripAdvisor powering a review collection platform.
By teaming up with TripAdvisor, Interhome says it will be able to benefit from the US company’s “unrivalled expertise” through its powerful marketing.
Interhome will start processing and publishing client feedback on its site in the coming months with the support of TripAdvisor,
In a parallel development, Interhome’s international portfolio will be integrated into TripAdvisor’s rental listings in a phased approach.
Interhome chief executive Simon Lehmann, describing the new co-operation as a “major milestone” in the targeted expansion of Interhome, said: “Teaming up with the world’s largest travel site opens up many exciting marketing and distribution opportunities for properties.”
TripAdvisor for business president Christine Petersen said: “Our partnership demonstrates our belief and commitment to vacation rentals as an important accommodation option for travellers.”
