The travel division of Moneysupermarket.com has seen revenue fall by 11% in the three months to September.
Issuing third quarter results, the company said visitor volumes to travelsupermarket.com had dropped by 4%.
“Trading continues to be challenging across the travel business with consumers managing their discretionary spending tightly,” the company said.
Trading in the first weeks of the firm’s fourth quarter has seen travel revenues down by 17% year on year against overall group revenues up by 14%.
The company said its expectations for the year remain unchanged after recording internet revenues and EBITDA for the third quarter respectively 14% and 25% ahead of the same period last year, although no figures were provided in the interim management statement.
