KLM allows live flight tracking

Dutch carrier KLM has started offering the ability for its flights to be tracked in real time.

Dutch carrier KLM  has started offering the ability for its flights to be tracked in real time.


The tracking system places aircraft on a world map enabling users to see where it is on its route and to search for other flights by entering the flight number or departure or arrival airport.


The service is available for all KLM, Air France and Delta flights, KLM saying expecting it to be popular with travellers, people meeting flights and train spotters.


Results can also be shared with friends including on social media sites like Facebook and Twitter.
