An application that allows travellers to shake their iPhone or Android device to receive information on KLM destinations has been made available by the Dutch carrier.
KLM app ‘shakes up’ mobile flight search
Travellers can now generate information and pricing on KLM destinations with a shake of their iPhone or Android device.
The Dutch carrier’s bookable TripShake app, which generates KLM destination suggestions with a ticket price, is an extension of the KLM.com site’s destination guide and comes as part of a multi-channel strategy by the airline.
The free app features more than 100 destinations, and allows users to filter by continent and travel date. Ticket prices shown are the lowest fare for a return flight, and results can be shared on social media from within the app.
The iPhone App is available in English, Dutch and German. The Android version will follow next week.
