MyDestinationinfo.com has been revamped under the new name of MyDestination.com.
The change of name, new logo and URL come as part of global expansion by the company which brings together a community of local experts in more than 100 destinations.
A new tagline – ‘Locally informed, globally inspired’ – has also been introduced by the company which was established five years ago.
Co-founder Neill Waller said: “We dropped the ‘info’ as part of our global rebrand since the site has evolved into much more than an information resource.
“Now we incorporate a booking engine; soon we’ll be launching online communities, mobile apps and advanced personalisation.”
Experts linked to the site produce information such as travel articles and guides, insider tips, videos and virtual tours.
