UK travellers are being encouraged to tweet and post comments about their holiday experiences in Tunisia. The Tunisian National Tourist Office’s official Facebook and Twitter pages will showcase the destination in an effort to inspire new and returning holidaymakers to the country.

Visitors can upload videos, post images, tweet travel tips, and connect with fellow travellers before, during and after their holidays. Users can ‘like’ the Come to Tunisia Facebook page or ‘follow us’ on Twitter @ComeToTunisia.

UK and Ireland director Anissa Ramoundi said: “By investing in our online presence, we will be able to reach out to British travellers in a very modern and open way; an approach that would not have been possible before the Jasmine Revolution.

“We hope that our Facebook and Twitter pages will be both a useful and an enjoyable way to discover more about our wonderful country and remind visitors that Tunisia is a safe and a welcoming holiday destination.”
