Expedia TV ad portrays staff as travel nerds

Expedia has announced the launch of the next advertisement in their advertising campaign targeting brand identity.

Expedia has launched the next advertisement in a campaign designed to highlight the company’s personalised travel services.


The new ad, created by Ogilvy & Mather Advertising, portrays the company as staffed by expert, obsessive travellers from a range of nationalities. It will be featured on TV, radio, print, online and in social media.


Andrew Warner, senior marketing director, EMEA, said: “As a market leader, Expedia needs to be leading the industry in all aspects of the travel business. We’re seeing huge leaps in innovation across all media but travel advertising has stayed relatively still, focusing on palm trees and price points and customers are looking for change.”
