Luxury hotel brand Splendia has launched an English version of flash sales website StayPrivé to offer customers big discounts on accommodations.
The new site follows an initial French version released in April, and appears to be a clone of the already successful Voyage Privé. Both offer discounts, carry only luxury brands and require membership to buy.
There is even a striking resemblance between the two homepages:
StayPrivé offers one-off flash sales and discounts of at least 30%. Sales last for one week, with the site targeting affluent travellers looking to make immediate purchases.
Benoit Durand, Splendia co-founder and initiator of the project, said: “Stayprivé is a brand new product line that completes the range of services that Splendia offers.
“Where customers use Splendia to book a hotel in a specific destination for set dates, Stayprivé is directed towards impulsive purchasing for cherry-picked hotels with incredible offers for a limited period.”
