Hotel review and booking site Oyster.com has launched a ‘photo-powered hotel search’ called Oyster Shots.
The new tool allows users to search images of hotel facilities such as pools and workout rooms, as well as other key selling points such as beach views.

All the pictures are taken by Oyster.com photographers, and each will be accompanied by pricing information to help users choose the hotel that is right for them.
Eytan Seidman, co-founder and VP of product said: “As far as we are aware this is the first time where someone has built something where you can type in a concept like Miami pool and get unlimited photos from across hundreds of hotels for every pool and pool-related aspect of a city.”
“So if you are someone who is traveling to Miami and want a hotel with a pool, you can get all the information you want. Instead of having to go and read 20 things or dive into 20 hotels, you can type in your search and all these photos will help people clearly visualize what each place is going to look like.”
