Lastminute teams up with MBNA/Mastercard

A lastminute.com credit card is to offer customers rewards points on purchases together with travel and lifestyle promotions.

A lastminute.com credit card is to offer customers rewards points on purchases together with travel and lifestyle promotions.


Card purchases with lastminute.com will attract two points per £1 spent. Users can earn 1,500 lastminute.com points when they spend £250 within the first 90 days of the account opening – equivalent to a £15 lastminute.com gift voucher.


Customers will also receive deals on theatre, restaurants, spas and lifestyle experiences. The card, launched in partnership with MBNA and MasterCard, will offer zero per cent on purchases for nine months from the date the account is opened.


Contactless payments will be available, allowing customers to pay for purchases under £15 without entering a PIN. Lasminute.com commercial managing director Fraser Robinson said: “As both a travel and lifestyle brand, it makes sense for lastminute.com to provide customers with great rewards to help them make the most of their free time.”


MBNA affinity partnerships director Rajiv Gupta said: “With privileges and points on offer for a range of activities and experiences available on the website, there really is something for everyone to take advantage of.”
