Hipmunk partners with Frontier Airlines

Hipmunk, the travel search site has announced it is partnering with Frontier Airlines.

Travel search site Hipmunk has announced it is partnering with Frontier Airlines, allowing users to book the carrier’s flights directly through FrontierAirlines.com.

Customers can also book through the Hipmunk iPhone app. This cuts out the flight search aggregators, making Hipmunk a possible competitor with the existing crop of airfare aggregators.

The new partnership also gives airlines a more direct and advertisement-free route to customers “We’re pleased to announce our partnership with Hipmunk, which aligns perfectly with our vision to provide a different and better travel experience,” said James Reichart, Frontier’s vice president of Marketing and Sales.

“With this partnership, our guests will have more ways to find our flights and low fares, and be able to conveniently book those flights through Frontier.” Frontier Airlines and Hipmunk will celebrate the partnership by giving away a $500 Fly Bucks gift card to be used for travel on Frontier Airlines.
