Social and semantic search engine TrustYou has launched a feature that allows hoteliers to see and interact with Twitter users looking for hotels in the area.
In a speech at the Travel Distribution Summit Europe 2011, TrustYou CEO Benjamin Jost said: “For the first time, you can interact as a hotel with people on Twitter saying something and offer kind of a Q and A.
“As a hotel you can tweet people searching for hotels in your area and say, look, I have this hotel, I have these offers, why don’t you buy with me. This allows the interaction to come full circle with people on the web leaving comments, posting questions and properties responding.”
TrustYou’s service also has reputation management applications, compiling comments and reviews in multiple languages from across the web and allowing hotels to integrate their own customer data.
