P&O Cruises has unveiled a new desktop ship tracker that allows users anywhere in the world to access the location of its six ships and view a host of information.
This includes the ships’ speed and location, a live webcam view from the wheelhouse, local weather conditions and Facebook and blog updates.
P&O Cruises head of brand marketing Philip Price said: “The Live Ship Tracker is a great addition to our award-winning website allowing users to download and follow our fleet of ships direct from their desktops as they sail the globe.
“In addition users can also follow the James Cusick blog (our executive purser) plus receive daily updates from our official Facebook and Twitter channels. It has been very well received by both past and potential passengers.”
