Tour operator technology provider Mach Associates is hoping to boost communication with clients with the launch of a series of webcasts and blogs.
Tools developed by the reservation system specialist, such as its Mars product, will be backed by the new methods of distributing crucial information in a bid to streamline updates and system checks.
The company said the development will ease the pressure on an operator’s IT department.
The introduction of tutorials and feedback tools if problems are discovered would allow operators to move into a “fast business environment”, needed in order to “survive and propser”.
Sales director Richard Bristow admitted information had often been difficult to communicate with clients.
“In the past new releases of software have often been hit and miss affairs,” he said. “Using the latest webcasts we can now show customers what new releases contain and how to get the maximum value from them.
“This has many practical benefits for Mars users; as well as saving considerable amounts of time (and money), they can broadcast the information as part of normal team meetings and replay the it as often as needed – on a one to one basis.”
