Thomas Cook has signed an agreement with CallUma, a travel service provider specialising in luggage tracking tags.

The agreement allows CallUma to sell its luggage tag packs through all 800 Thomas Cook and Going Places stores.

The new tags have a unique tracking number rather than personal information. The idea is to protect against identity theft and help locate missing luggage.

Tony Partridge, chief executive of CallUma said: “We are thrilled to be working with Thomas Cook UK & Ireland and look forward to sharing the benefits of our service with them and their customers.”
