adds to ‘Director’s Choice’ of hotels has significantly expanded its range of top-selling and top-rated hotels to more than 160 properties.

The independent trade accommodation provider’s Director’s Choice range was introduced last year with 20 properties.

The portfolio has now been expanded to 168 in 50 top selling destinations with more to be added next month. Hotels in Seattle, Lisbon and Cairo are due to join the collection.

New additions include Fashion 26 in New York, Le Senat in Paris, Oasis Beach Tower in Dubai, the Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa, Mamaison Hotel Riverside in Prague, Andaz West Hollywood in Los Angeles, and Hotel Capo d’Africa in Rome.
Managing director Matt Stuart said: “On average sales for a hotel increase by around 40% once they have been included in the Director’s Choice category.

“Particular success stories are Bellagio, Las Vegas; The Gresham, Dublin; The Westin Beach Resort & Spa, Fort Lauderdale; Duodo Palace, Venice; Omni Los Angeles at California Plaza; Traders Hotel, Singapore and Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek, Orlando.”
He added: “The hotels are monitored continuously to ensure that they comply with our stringent criteria for the Director’s Choice properties.

“These include a very low complaint ratio (less than 0.5%), excellent customer feedback, good TripAdvisor positioning, preferential rates or added value and the property’s location.”

The concept was introduced to highlight hotels that always offer great value, service and product, said Stuart.

“Also, we wanted to help agents whittle down the scope of hotels on offer to get the best possible property and deal for their customers, especially in areas where there is a vast choice of hotels, such as New York, Orlando and Paris.”
