Travelport and Hotelzon agree tie-up

Travelport has announced a multi-year strategic cooperation with hotel booking software provider, Hotelzon.

Travelport has announced a multi-year strategic cooperation with hotel booking software provider, Hotelzon. The two companies will combine Hotelzon booking tools with Travelport technology and hotel content.

The goal is to provide more choice and streamline sales and booking processes for travel agents and corporations. This will allow either businesses customers to view hotel and booking information from both companies.

Jani Kaskinen, chief executive at Hotelzon International said: “This agreement strengthens Hotelzon’s service offering which enables joint customers to process bookings more efficiently.

Our booking volumes will increase dramatically, and such a multi-portal also creates a significant inventory of GDS and non-GDS properties that are available to our joint travel agency customers.
