Amadeus has launched its latest version of the self-booking tool for corporations including a redesigned travel arranger workspace.
Users will be able to make bookings, modify trips, view trip reviews and manage profiles all on a single page. Other new features include a smart shopping basket, calendar improvements and templates to streamline bookings to common destinations.
Albert Pozo, Amadeus’ vice-president multinational business and corporate, said: “The new version maintains Amadeus’ vision of supporting corporations anywhere in the world, while locally customising solutions according to customer needs in specific markets.
“For example, ticketless travel is now available on our system on the Thalys high-speed rail connection between Paris and Brussels.
“Amadeus’ online booking tool – currently used by over 4,500 corporations worldwide – provides travel arrangers with unparalleled choice, content and control over their trips while complying with their company’s travel policies.”
The new service is also available using iPhone, BlackBerry and Windows enabled phones. This means business travelers can now access and confirm travel plans from anywhere in the world.
