Former Thomas Cook creative director Tom Lenham has set up a digital media company for the travel industry.
Juggernaut Digital Media will provide video and new media for websites across the travel space.
“We know from our work with Thomas Cook and Visit London that video can boost conversion by up to 40%,% said Lenham. “But with the pace of technology changing so quickly, companies can get bogged down in what they should be doing with their marketing budget.
“We wanted to provide a service that cuts through that confusion.”
Lenham predicted families would soon be watching destination videos in the evening then clicking through on their remote to make a booking.
The buzzword for 2011 is ‘transmedia’ – content that works across any platform, he said.
