Meta search website Henoo.com has revealed a string of major developments, including the the addition of all Thomas Cook products and the launch of its first accommodation-only section.

The site will now carry holidays for Thomas Cook and the MyTravel suite of operators, including Airtours and Panorama, as well as Virgin Holidays, Direct Holidays and Portland Holidays.

Individual hotel and villa components are also expected to be rolled out onto the Henoo network in the coming months, the company revealed.

The news comes less than six months after the site was launched by the Internet Business Group, owner of the AffiliateFuture network.

Over 100 websites, such as destination sites and tourist boards, have taken a white label version of the Henoo.com search engine in recent months, IBG chairman Maziar Darvish told Travolution.

IBG recently paid £1.1m for the Cheapaccommodation.com and Cheapholidaydeals.co.uk from Cheapflights.

The sites are expected to be relaunched by the end of August and could tie in with the addition of accommodation to the Henoo brand.

Darvish said: “Cheapaccommodation has given us almost overnight access to the accommodation market and a portfolio of properties.”

The move is part of a wider strategy for IBG, which has the established affiliate marketing brand to feed its rapid expansion into the meta and price comparison site market.

Darvish said: “It is a long term strategy and is not a very quick or short term ride.

“But at the end of it there is market buoyancy in our favour. The cost-per-acquisition model is becoming the preferred model for the travel sector.”
