Budget hotel chain Premier Inn is to reward guests via social networks Facebook and Twitter.
The company is marking the UK launch by offering a free breakfast to the first 100 guests who ‘check-in’ via Facebook Places on arrival at its hotel in London Victoria this month.
Facebook Places is a new app designed to encourage users to ‘check-in’ to locations when they visit them. The first 100 guests who check into Facebook Places at the Victoria Premier Inn will be rewarded with a breakfast worth £7.95.
Premier Inn innovation leader Steve Conway said: “We are the first budget hotel chain in the UK to use Facebook Places to reward our guests and we are planning to offer more exciting rewards on Twitter and on our Facebook page in the near future.”
