Flights consolidator JTA Travel Group and travel software firm Dolphin Dynamics have agreed a distribution partnership that will give agents access to JTA fares from the 55 airlines it works with.

Search and booking capabilities have been integrated with Dolphin’s point of sale and online booking system.

The link provides Dolphin’s agent and tour operator customers with real-time access to thousands of airfares negotiated by JTA via their desktops.

JTA’s products can also be compared and combined with hundreds of web-based airlines, GDS-sourced flights and directly contracted flight allocations and aircraft charters.

These are bookable within the same transaction, with both third party and contracted ground suppliers including accommodation, car-rental, transfer and other ancillary suppliers.

The new service will be available to both existing JTA customers using Dolphin and all other Dolphin users who establish a commercial relationship with the midlands-based consolidator.

Wayne Darrock, managing director of JTA, said: “This new agreement enables us to improve our service to the fast-growing Dolphin customer base.

“It streamlines the process of finding the right JTA product for their customers and enabling them to have a fully integrated sales and booking management solution when selling our range of highly competitive airfares.”

Roberto Da Re, president of Dolphin Dynamics, added: “This agreement is another significant step forward as for the first time Dolphin customers have direct access to consolidated airfares via our selling platform.

“This is important for agents that do not have their own IATA license or do not have agreements with all carriers.”
