Search marketing specialist Greenlight has been named as one of the most rapidly growing companies in the 2010 Deloitte Technology Fast 50 list for the third year running.
The company moved up 23 places to be named as the 27th fastest growing company nationally and 11th in the London region.
This makes it one of the fastest growing independent search marketing agencies in the UK.
The league table ranks the UK’s 50 fastest-growing technology companies. It covers both public and private companies in all areas of technology – from internet specialists to life sciences, computers to semiconductors, software to telecommunications.
Greenlight attributed the result down to constant development of its proprietary technologies such as real-time price comparison platform for paid search, which forms part of the latest upgrade to its automated inventory management platform ‘adapt’.
The firm has secured search marketing accounts from Thomas Cook Group, Santander, New Look and Nespresso over the year.
Founder and chief executive Warren Cowan, who has also been shortlisted for the forthcoming ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ award in this year’s National Business Awards, said: “It has been an extremely challenging couple of years for the economy and the marketing services industry.
“To have achieved any growth is highly commendable and to have been recognised by Deloitte makes the accomplishments all the more rewarding.”
Greenlight will attend the awards dinner at Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium in London on November 25.
