Discover Travel & Tours has launched what it claims is Europe’s first dedicated online service for group holidays.
The site – Mygrouptour.com – is the result of heavy investment by the Worcester-based group tour operator and will include a string of functions for individuals managing group tours or coach operators and travel agents.
A significant part of the site will be given over to inbound groups to the UK, Ireland and Europe. Other groups targeted include non-professionals organising small excursions, alongside individuals arranging stag or hen parties.
A unique function of Mygrouptour.com will also allow users to enter the details of a holiday requested, with operators then offered the chance to bid for the business.
Managing director Andrew Grieve said: “We have listened to what the market wants and have invested heavily in both money and time to create Mygrouptour.com as the site for group organisers to create and manage group travel programmes throughout Europe.”
Discover’s own ready-made tours will also be available on the site.
