Shopqwik.com, a new mobile phone search and booking engine, has struck a series of deals with a string of European low-cost airlines to provide airfares to customers.

The service, which has partnered EasyJet, Ryanair, BMI Baby and Air Berlin amongst the 25 LCCs, has also created a hotel booking facility through Transhotel and resort accommodation with Broadway Travel.

The company launched this week with a promise that airfares with British Airways, package holidays through Thomson, MyTravel, Thomas Cook and First Choice would be made available soon.

The system is currently compatible with a selection of current Nokia make handsets and Windows Mobile.

Shopqwik said this week it would be offering a cancellation or transfer service for users and also allows payment of London’s congestion charge via the handset.

“Using Shopqwik’s software it takes just 90 seconds to book a flight from start to finish and two key presses to pay the congestion charge,” the company said.

A car hire facility has also been included in the deal, handled by Argus Car Hire.
