TripAdvisor has launched a free-of-charge travel planning widget that it claims will enhance business and tourism websites.

The What’s Nearby widget includes a map of top-rated local attractions, hotels and restaurants recommended by other travellers. It is available in two sizes and offers 22 language preferences.

TripAdvisor partnerships senior manager Richard Knapp said: “The widget showcases the best of a destination and is a valuable addition to any webpage, helping businesses grab the attention of current and potential customers.”
