EasySell v2.1 has been trialled at three First Choice locations in recent months, but a major deployment of the product is expected to its start at its top-60 performing travel shops alongside the company’s 38 hypermarkets.
First Choice’s national call centre in Salford will also receive the product in August this year, before a wider expansion to the remaining retail outlets.
Head of commercial at First Choice, Helen Deegan, said “First Choice has enjoyed a long-standing relationship with Comtec having been the first major UK travel agent to deploy EasySell six years ago.
“We are now pleased to be upgrading to EasySell v2.1 which our pilot phase has convinced us will enable our retail outlets to further improve staff productivity and enhance the service offered to customers.”
The new product will allow First Choice to search across 70 tour operator brands, up to 18 months in advance. It also includes a digital brochure component.
