A leading superyacht sales and charter company has claimed early success after appointing web agency Make It Rain to boost its online profile.
Burgess specialises in the sale, charter, new construction and operational management of yachts over 40 metres.
It said its customers are increasingly using the internet to engage with luxury brands and brought in Make it Rain to run an integrated PPC and SEO campaign.
Results to date have seen an increase of 43% in search visits year-on-year since the campaign began in May this year, it was claimed.
Justin Hayward, managing director at Make It Rain said: “Burgess is already the market leader for superyachts and our brief is to enable the brand to achieve the same status in online share.
Having seen search results improve Make It Rain will now turn its sights on social media having undertaken a strategic link-building campaign within luxury forums and social channels.
