Kuoni renews GDS deal with Travelport

Upmarket operator Kuoni has announced it is to continue using the Galileo GDS in the UK and across ten other countries after renewing a contract with parent company Travelport.

Upmarket operator Kuoni has announced it is to continue using the Galileo GDS in the UK and across ten other countries after renewing a contract with parent company Travelport.


A multi-year agreement has been confirmed between the Dorking-based operator and the GDS, building on an existing long term arrangement.
  
A range of Galileo applications and ticketing solutions will continue to cover Austria, Belgium, France, Hong Kong, India, Italy, the Netherlands, Scandinavia, Spain, Switzerland and the UK.
 
Kuoni chief information officer Benno Iten said: “Travelport has always been an important GDS provider for us and we are confident that as a result of this new agreement, we will continue to receive impressive scope and quality of content coupled with leading technology solutions, beneficial for us and our customers.”
