Andy Tidy to oversee Multicom’s international expansion

International expansion plans by travel software specialist Multicom are to be pushed forward under former Thomas Cook e-commerce director Andy Tidy.


The former Flexibletrips and Club 18-30 managing director is to review and implement the FindandBook company’s long term strategy as part of the Bristol-based company’s expansion plans.


Tidy has been recruited as executive director working alongside managing director John Howell to shake-up marketing and product branding, internal structures and processes.


Multicom aims to more than triple its turnover over the next four years and aims to embark on a period of “exceptional growth”.


Tidy, a former non-executive director to the Multicom board, said: “We now offer a complete range of advanced products from web platforms through to intelli-cached aggregation services and a reservation system and we will make it our mission to deliver to our customers whilst still retaining the qualities that we have built our reputation on.”  
 
Howell said: “Given his knowledge of our business and the industry in general inviting Andy to take on a more day to day role will be pivotal to ensuring we maximise our growth forecasts.
 
“Andy’s appointment will provide Multicom will a greater focus on key business areas that will be critical to the business expansion plans.”
