Worldhotels launches smartphone bookings

Worldhotels is the latest travel firm to join the smartphone booking world.

BlackBerry and iPhone users who go to worldhotels.com are automatically linked to a splash page, enabling them to make a booking or search the group’s full directory of more than 450 affiliate properties worldwide.

Managing director Robert Hornman said: “We have responded to the massive growth in the use of smartphones and the degree to which both business and leisure travellers have come to rely on them.”

He added: “Worldhotels always wants to make life as easy as possible for busy travellers.

“By offering a dedicated website for smartphones, we are giving travellers on the move immediate access to our worldwide portfolio, providing them with a quick and simple-to-use booking solution while away from their office or home.”
