Virgin Holidays has appointed R.O.EYE to help run its affiliate marketing as it seeks to grow its affiliate activity.

Virgin Holidays general manager of sales Drew Robinson said the agency had been tasked to develop a long-term strategy for the operator, beginning by launching a programme supporting both existing affiliates and bringing on board new affiliate partners.

It is thought affiliate activity can be grown through blogs, content sites and incentive and voucher sites in a bid to target the most relevant audiences.

Robinson said: “Virgin Holidays’ business is extremely ambitious and we feel that R.O.EYE’s level of expertise in account management, recruitment of affiliates and technical solutions will allow us to realise our growth targets.”

Mark Kuhillow, managing director of R.O.EYE, added: “We’ll be helping Virgin Holidays ramp up its affiliate activity, and by using our enhanced affiliate marketing tools will allow the brand to place its advertising on a number of new travel sites it hasn’t yet featured on.

“This will enable us to partner with the most appropriate sites to get the best results.”
