First Choice has created a personal pre-departure facility for online customers.
The site, MyFirstChoice, follows the success of MyThomson last year.
It aims to enhance customers’ pre-departure experience by providing all their holiday details and information in one place.
Customers can view information such as weather forecasts, directions to the airport from their home and notifications of roadworks.
Further details about the hotel and destination will also be available, with links to videos and photos.
Customers will also be able to purchase extras such as UK airport parking, car hire, holiday insurance and excursions in resort.
Jeremy Gidley, Tui’s CRM general manager, said: “When we launched MyThomson we wanted to create something that was really engaging for customers, to get them excited about their holiday, and the response to date has been incredible.
“We’re continuously looking to evolve the website and the creation of MyFirstChoice was a natural next step. In addition, MyFirstChoice includes some additional features designed specifically for our family customers.”
MyFirstChoice also has a families page with games, tips for travelling with kids and a printable activity sheet.
There are also maps for the First Choice Holiday Villages, internal airport maps and more, all tailored to the customer’s booking information.
