Travelsupermarket has dramatically increased the number of properties available to search on its website following a deal signed with accommodation provider Hotelclub.co.uk.


The deal will give the meta search site access to 21,000 hotels on the Hotelclub website.


Properties will sit in Travelsupermarket’s hotel-only search channel in what bosses have called a “significant boost” to its portfolio of options to users.


The move comes just days after Travelsupermarket unveiled plans ramp its offering to consumers by including reviews of accommodation and tools such as maps and images.


Travelsupermarket channels manager for hotels, Alexis Garrick, said: “The addition of Hotelclub has really increased our worldwide search facility and gives our users easy access to an enormous range of properties in a comprehensive way.


“Our ongoing strategy is to offer the widest range of properties to our customers and, by working with such well-known brands, we are able to significantly boost the amount of hotels we display.”


The Cendant-owned Hotelclub includes properties in 102 countries and 2,600 cities around the world.
