German tour operator Dertour is to launch its first transactional site for the UK market and has appointed London-based 4Ps Marketing for its UK-based SEO.
Dertour has been providing tailor-made travel to central Europe from the UK for over forty years. Currently, its product in the UK is sold through the trade or direct via a call centre.
Its ATOL entitles it to carry more than 9000 passengers a year. The Frankfurt-based parent company has been servicing the German market for some 85 years.
Dertour’s head of marketing, Tim Locke, said: “ With our ambition to deliver our first transactional website into the UK market this year, 4Ps Marketing will play a pivotal role in migrating our ranking credentials as well as helping us to exploit every ethical opportunity to be more visible to the search engines.”
The agency’s contract covers “100% new keyword research through to landing page optimisation”.
