Hotel portal HRS.com has announced its first partnership with a UK airline.
The brand has tied up with leading regional carrier Flybe to create mini-site flybehotels.com, which gives travel agents and consumers access to HRS’ 250,000 global properties.
The minisite is promoted on Flybe’s homepage, and further plans include developing mobile apps for the partnership.
Jon West, HRS.com director UK and Ireland, said: “We are extremely pleased to be linking with the UK’s number one domestic airline.
“The fit between the audiences of both companies is well matched. The team has secured this win using HRS.com’s advanced technology credentials, innovative mobile applications and a proven track record of converting online browsers into sales.”
Simon Lilley, Flybe’s director of marketing, said: “We were extremely impressed with the drive and ambition of HRS.com that, twinned with their technological capabilities, bodes well for the partnership being an enormous success.”
HRS’s current airline partners include Lufthansa, European Airlines and German Wings.
To mark the launch promotion every 10th person to book a hotel stay for May 2010 will receive the £50 cash back incentive.
