Expedia has appointed LG Electronics UK and Ireland marketing director Andrew Warner as senior marketing director for Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Warner is responsible for brand marketing and public relations for the online agent’s 12 European sites amd intends on increasing brand awareness across the continent.
He said: “The company has a reputation for innovation, technical excellence and great value that gives it a competitive edge in a highly dynamic marketplace.
“Together with my talented team, I am looking forward to building on the success they have already enjoyed in developing the brand and to devising new strategies that put travellers at the heart of everything we do.”
Warner’s previous roles include global brand director at Sony Ericsson and head of marketing for EMap Online.
