Brighton-based search engine optimisation specialist Propellernet is to develop video technology in partnership with resort operator Mark Warner.

Brighton-based search engine optimisation specialist Propellernet is to developing new video technology.

Rachel Krish, Propellernet account director said adding a video specialism was the latest development for the firm which has grown from just six employees five years ago to 20 today.

The videos will include hotspot links to operators’ websites. Among Propellernet’s current clients are Mark Warner, Sovereign and Kontiki.

Propellernet has recently moved into new larger premises in Brighton which has plenty of room for further planned expansion of the team.

Last week it scooped a CIMTIG marketing award for best use of search engine optimisation for a campaign focusing on luxury family holidays for Sovereign Luxury Holidays.

The firm is also currently working with 360travelguide.com, which is undergoing a complete redesign aimed at offering inspiration for travel by focusing on destinations, expert tips and insider guides.

Travel is Propellernet’s biggest sector and Krish said, despite the state of the UK economy, business was good.

“At the moment business is brilliant, we have won three new clients in the last few weeks, in various sectors, and we are having lots of conversations with travel clients.

“We have a very strategic approach to the online channel, it is very results driven. You have to be transparent with clients and set realistic expectations. Everything we do is backed up by data.”
