Expedia unveils brand relaunch

Expedia.co.uk has unveiled a brand revamp which will include site improvements and the first logo redesign since its launch in 1998.

The relaunch will be supported by Expedia.co.uk’s first advertising campaign in almost two years, which will appear on television later in 2010.

The site will be revamped throughout 2010 with the aim of refining search options and improving choice.

Head of brand marketing and research, Expedia EMEA Stephen Davis said: “We are a well-known and trusted brand but we also know that consumers can visit up to six different sites when considering buying their travel.

“So we really need to cut through and remind people why Expedia.co.uk is the right choice. Many people don’t realise that, on Expedia.co.uk, they can save more money by booking their flights and hotels together while still being able to completely customise their holiday.”

The new design is also being rolled out on Expedia’s 11 other European sites.
