Travelport pushes into Eastern Europe with new TravelTECH deal
Travelport has extended its deal with TravelTECH to increase the technology company’s reach in Eastern Europe. The multi-year partnership sees Travelport provide Worldspan and Galileo technology and GTA content to TravelTECH, a specialist in online reservation systems internet booking technology in Poland. This latest deal builds on an existing agreement between TravelTECH and Galileo for Poland and extends to Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Romania and Russia. TravelTECH will have access to traditional airline, low cost carrier and hotel content as well as invoicing and administration systems. Access to Travelport’s low-fare tool, e-Pricing, is also part of the agreement.
