TTE: LikeCube seeks new partners

LikeCube, a new B2B provider of personalisation solutions, is seeking online travel agency and hotel groups to work with.

LikeCube creates personalised recommendations for users by tracking their activity on the site, such as how they rate hotels and the reviews they write.

The service launched in November at World Travel Market and is currently providing a personalisation platform for, the local business review site.

It can also provide recommendations for first-time visitors to a site by asking, for example, what restuarant they like in their home town and suggesting a similar one in the destination they are visiting.
Commercial director Emmanuel Marchal said: “People are searching more and more before they go on holiday but it’s hard for them to find the right thing. We help people find the best match for themselves, not for the average person.

“Our platform can also pair people so you can read recommendations written by people like you.”

Personalisation has helped stimulate a community on and driven more users to invite their friends to view the site, said Marchal. Using this technology can help sites grow traffic and transactions by 30-40%, he added.

Marchal is in talks with hotel groups and OTAs, as well as technology providers to partner with.
