Shorex Travel has appointed Astratis to develop and build their systems and websites.

Shorex, set up by former Cadogan Holidays’ directors Tom Allen and Doug Mathieson, is to begin trading in February and will specialise in developing pre and post departure packages for cruise holidays.

The company will enable cruise agents to offer customers the option to extend their trip with traditional tours as well as more unusual products and experiences.

According to Allen, Astratis was chosen for its flexible Taurus system as well as its XReservations XML technology.
