Delegates need to be quick to qualify for a 20% discount on seminar sessions at this year’s Travel Technology Europe trade show.

The offer applies for registrations taken before February 5 for the show that will take place at London’s Earl’ Court on February 9-10.

The seminar programme features five sessions on each of the two days of the show covering a range of topics such as European travel trends 2010, mobile technology, tips on how to survive the downturn, web distribution and social media.

One session, that will be repeated on the second day features Reality Training’s Jeremy Blake and Bob Morrell and is based on their new book; “The Perfect Storm – 30 Ways to Drive Your Business”.

The pair, both former actors, have provided training for the Co-op, Bourne Leisure and TUI Travel and have run sessions at the Travel Convention run by ABTA and at World Travel Market.

Travel Industry marketing organisation CIMTIG will run a session looking at how firms can make social networks work for them.

Four of the sessions will be run by Travolution, including one looking at the future of social media with technology provider Click With Technology and its biggest client cruise.co.uk, winner at last year’s World Travel Awards in the cruise agent category.

Another will look at European Travel Trends for 2010 with Travelzoo Europe executive vice president Chris Loughlin and Cheapflights global sales director Francesca Ecsery.

Travolution will also debate the prospects for mobile technology in 2010 and finally will host a Big Debate with members of our executive editorial board.

Event director Neil Simpson said the intention was that the sessions would provide delegates with useful tips and advice they can take away and implement when they get back to their businesses.

The sessions cost £55 and tickets will be available for purchase at the Seminar box office on the day, but they are available now as part of the online registration process for £45.
