Shaw to leave Royal Caribbean Cruises

Royal Caribbean Cruises vice-president and managing director for UK and Ireland, Robin Shaw, is to leave the company at the end of March.

Royal Caribbean Cruises vice-president and managing director for UK and Ireland, Robin Shaw, is to leave the company at the end of March.


A statement from the company said: “He is to pursue a senior management role outside of the Royal Caribbean Cruises.”


There is currently no information on the role Shaw is leaving the company for.


Royal Caribbean Cruises senior vice-president international Michael Bayley said: “Over the past five years Robin has been instrumental in delivering exceptional results for the UK and Irish markets where both market share and profitability have increased significantly.


“Robin leaves behind a talented and dedicated team and has set a very strong platform for continued growth in 2010 and beyond. We wish Robin the very best in his future career.”


Associate vice-president and general manager, UK and Ireland, Jo Rzymowska will work with Michael Bayley and Robin Shaw to oversee the transition period for the UK and Ireland business.
